At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2009, Austria's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 4.6% compared to 2008, reaching 14.5%.

Austria ranks 17th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.5% (from 13.0% in 2004).
