Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2017, Austria's main indicators decreased by 0.7% compared to 2016, reaching 33.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 18.4%.

Austria ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.2% (from 32.7% in 2012).
