At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2006, Belgium's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.7% compared to 2005, reaching 14.7%.

Belgium ranks 13th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.1% (from 13.0% in 2001).
