At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2000, Belgium's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 9.1% compared to 1999, reaching 24.0%.

Belgium ranks 4th out of 21 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.0% (from 25.0% in 1995).
