Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2020, Belgium's main indicators increased by 61.9% compared to 2019, reaching 11.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 10.3%.

Belgium ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 181.4% (from 3.9% in 2015).
