Early leavers from education and training by labour status

In 2025, Bulgaria's early leavers from education and training by labour status increased by 4.9% compared to 2024, reaching 8.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.1%.

Bulgaria ranks 11th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 32.8% (from 12.8% in 2020).
