Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2013, Bulgaria's main indicators increased by 18.1% compared to 2012, reaching 18.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 26.8%.

Bulgaria ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 95.7% (from 9.5% in 2008).
