Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2019, Bulgaria's main indicators decreased by 2.3% compared to 2018, reaching 7.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 8.8%.

Bulgaria ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 37.5% (from 5.7% in 2014).
