Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2002, Bulgaria's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 6.7% compared to 2001, reaching 30.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.6%.

Bulgaria ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.1% (from 29.3% in 1997).
