In 2020, Croatia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.6% compared to 2019, reaching 19.6%.
The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.5%.
Croatia ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.9% (from 20.6% in 2015).
