At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2018, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.9% compared to 2017, reaching 21.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Cyprus ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.5% (from 20.1% in 2013).
