At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2024, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 2.2% compared to 2023, reaching 13.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Cyprus ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.7% (from 13.6% in 2019).
