In 2021, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by age group decreased by 7.4% compared to 2020, reaching 27.4.

Cyprus accounts for 81.5% of the EU-27 total of 33.6.

Cyprus ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 14.9% (from 32.2 in 2016).
