Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2021, Denmark's main indicators increased by 31.0% compared to 2020, reaching 41.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.9%.

Denmark ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 30.8% (from 31.7% in 2016).
