In 2013, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 41.9% compared to 2012, reaching 24.4%.
The figure is above the EU-27 average of 13.3%.
Estonia ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 37.4% (from 39.0% in 2008).
