In 2012, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.0% compared to 2011, reaching 18.1%.
The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.6%.
Estonia ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 16.6% (from 21.7% in 2007).
