At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 2009, reaching 13.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.1%.

France ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.5% (from 13.7% in 2005).
