Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2020, France's main indicators increased by 11.3% compared to 2019, reaching 19.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 22.0%.

France ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 29.1% (from 14.8% in 2015).
