Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2011, Germany's main indicators increased by 0.7% compared to 2010, reaching 6.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 4.1%.

Germany ranks 4th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.6% (from 6.7% in 2006).
