Level of internet access - households

In 2025, Germany's level of internet access increased by 1.1% compared to 2024, reaching 93.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 94.7%.

Germany ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.3% (from 95.8% in 2020).
