In 2007, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 35.1% compared to 2006, reaching 6.1%.
Hungary ranks 25th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 23.8% (from 8.0% in 2002).
