At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 10.9% compared to 2009, reaching 4.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.3%.

Hungary ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 36.9% (from 6.5% in 2005).
