In 2007, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 24.5% compared to 2006, reaching 12.3%.
Hungary ranks 18th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 36.7% (from 9.0% in 2002).
