At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2014, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.0% compared to 2013, reaching 15.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.8%.

Hungary ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 21.1% (from 12.8% in 2009).
