At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 10.9% compared to 2020, reaching 12.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.1%.

Hungary ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 14.6% (from 14.4% in 2016).
