Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Hungary's main indicators increased by 27.4% compared to 2022, reaching 19.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 45.4%.

Hungary ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 135.2% (from 8.3% in 2018).
