Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2021, Hungary's main indicators increased by 2.1% compared to 2020, reaching 14.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.9%.

Hungary ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.7% (from 14.4% in 2016).
