In 2025, Ireland's at-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status increased by 7.5% compared to 2024, reaching 5.70.

Ireland accounts for 68.7% of the EU-27 total of 8.30.

Ireland ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.6% (from 5.50 in 2020).
