At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2018, Italy's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.0% compared to 2017, reaching 20.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.8%.

Italy ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.2% (from 19.3% in 2013).
