At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2018, Italy's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.8% compared to 2017, reaching 26.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Italy ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.0% (from 25.2% in 2013).
