Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2011, Latvia's main indicators increased by 10.2% compared to 2010, reaching 33.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 14.5%.

Latvia ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.5% (from 31.1% in 2006).
