Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2013, Latvia's main indicators increased by 0.9% compared to 2012, reaching 4.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.1%.

Latvia ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 138.7% (from 1.7% in 2008).
