Recycling rates for packaging waste

In 2021, Latvia's recycling rates for packaging waste decreased by 0.7% compared to 2020, reaching 61.0.

Latvia accounts for 95.3% of the EU-27 total of 64.0.

Latvia ranks 14th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.7% (from 57.7 in 2016).
