At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Lithuania's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 7.4% compared to 2009, reaching 20.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.1%.

Lithuania ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.1% (from 21.3% in 2005).
