In 2022, Lithuania's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 5.4% compared to 2021, reaching 23.6%.
The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.4%.
Lithuania ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.5% (from 24.2% in 2017).
