Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2019, Malta's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 0.7% compared to 2018, reaching 13.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 12.9%.

Malta ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.1% (from 13.1% in 2014).
