At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2022, Poland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 13.1% compared to 2021, reaching 15.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.3%.

Poland ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.1% (from 13.8% in 2017).
