At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2006, Poland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 7.0% compared to 2005, reaching 18.5%.

Poland ranks 10th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 23.3% (from 15.0% in 2001).
