In 2018, Poland's share of women researchers by sector of performance decreased by 0.6% compared to 2017, reaching 37.9.

Poland ranks 10th out of 18 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.3% (from 37.8 in 2013).
