Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2014, Portugal's main indicators increased by 6.0% compared to 2013, reaching 52.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 28.6%.

Portugal ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 38.6% (from 37.6% in 2009).
