Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2020, Portugal's main indicators increased by 7.9% compared to 2019, reaching 58.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 37.4%.

Portugal ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.3% (from 52.6% in 2015).
