Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2009, Slovakia's main indicators increased by 25.4% compared to 2008, reaching 5.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 4.9%.

Slovakia ranks 7th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 257.6% (from 1.5% in 2004).
