At-risk-of-poverty rate of older people by sex - EU-SILC survey

In 2024, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate of older people by sex decreased by 7.3% compared to 2023, reaching 8.90.

Slovakia accounts for 53.6% of the EU-27 total of 16.6.

Slovakia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.3% (from 8.70 in 2019).
