At-risk-of-poverty rate by sex

In 2014, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by sex decreased by 1.6% compared to 2013, reaching 37.8.

Slovakia accounts for 72.8% of the EU-27 total of 51.9.

Slovakia ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.5% (from 33.0 in 2009).
