In 2016, Slovenia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 16.2% compared to 2015, reaching 11.9%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.4%.
Slovenia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 19.0% (from 14.7% in 2011).
