In 2018, Slovenia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 3.4% compared to 2017, reaching 14.0%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.5%.
Slovenia ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.1% (from 15.4% in 2013).
