In 2007, Slovenia's passenger cars, by type of motor energy and size of engine increased by 3.5% compared to 2006, reaching 1,014,000.

Slovenia ranks 21st out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.9% (from 914,500 in 2002).
