At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2016, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.3% compared to 2015, reaching 29.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.4%.

Spain ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.0% (from 27.5% in 2011).
