At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2001, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 15.8% compared to 2000, reaching 22.0%.

Spain ranks 7th out of 22 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 57.1% (from 14.0% in 1996).
