At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2018, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.5% compared to 2017, reaching 20.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

Spain ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.0% (from 20.9% in 2013).
